Good corporate website design for Gulf companies is not judged by how the homepage looks, but by how many serious inquiries the site brings in every month. A website that generates clients says plainly what you do, for whom and where, shows evidence of your experience, gives every service its own page, and routes visitors to contact you in one step. This article gives you a ready sitemap for a Gulf SME and a list of the content to prepare before you start.

A company profile website is not a PDF on the internet

Many companies have a PDF company profile designed for a tender or an exhibition, then try to move it onto a website as it is. The result is a long, attractive page that does not show up in search and does not answer the visitor's question.

Comparison PDF company profile Company profile website
Who sees it Whoever you send it to Anyone searching on Google or Maps
Search visibility Very weak A rankable page for each service
Updates Redesign and resend Edit from the admin panel
Measuring interest None Analytics for every page and every inquiry
Next step They call you if they remember A WhatsApp button or form on every page

This does not mean you should drop the PDF. Make it downloadable from the website, because some government entities and large companies in Saudi Arabia and across the Gulf may ask for it during vendor qualification.

What visitors see on the first screen

Visitors decide almost immediately whether they have landed in the right place. Order your homepage message like this:

  1. What you do and for whom: one clear sentence, such as "Facilities maintenance for commercial complexes in Riyadh and the Eastern Province", not a generic slogan.
  2. Where you work: the cities and countries you actually serve.
  3. Proof: real projects, certifications, or a classification from a relevant body if you hold one.
  4. Next step: one prominent button to get in touch or request a quote.

Proof builds trust

Do not write "we are the best". Show what proves it: photos of completed projects with a short description of the challenge and the solution, the quality certifications or classifications you actually hold, and the names of clients who have agreed to be mentioned. Showing your commercial registration number and VAT number (if registered) also builds trust, and for online stores in Saudi Arabia it is a requirement under the E-Commerce Law.

A sitemap for a typical Gulf SME

Here is a model sitemap for a service company website. Adjust it to your business:

Page Purpose Core content Call to action
Home Route visitors quickly What you do, where, top services, short proof Request a quote
About Build trust Story, team, track record, certifications Explore our services
One page per service Rank in search, land ad traffic Problem, approach, deliverables, FAQs Ask about this service
Projects Proof Projects with photos and details Request a similar project
Branches or service areas Local visibility Addresses, maps, opening hours Call this branch
Contact Conversion Short form, WhatsApp, map Send your request
Privacy policy Compliance and trust What data you collect and why —

Why every service needs its own page

If your Jeddah company offers waterproofing, renovation and fit-out, each of those is searched by a different client using different words. A single page covering all three will not rank for any of them. A dedicated page per service answers that service's questions and doubles as a landing page for your ads. For contractors specifically, we break this structure down in our guide to construction company website design in Saudi Arabia.

One example from our own work is the Jazeera Paints website, a Laravel product-catalogue site with an admin panel for content and branches, so the company's team updates its products and branch details without going back to the developer.

Arabic and English on one corporate website

In the Gulf, your website is read by a Saudi decision-maker, an expatriate procurement manager who prefers English, and a partner from outside the region. So:

  • Write the English version for its readers instead of relying on machine translation.
  • Give each language its own URLs, for example an Arabic path and one starting with /en.
  • Connect the two with hreflang tags so Google shows the right language.
  • Respect page direction: Arabic runs right to left, including menus, icons and tables.

Routing inquiries: WhatsApp, forms and calls

Many clients in the Gulf prefer WhatsApp to email, but that does not mean WhatsApp should be your only channel. Offer three routes, each in its place:

  • A WhatsApp button, fixed on mobile, with a pre-filled opening message that names the service the visitor was reading about.
  • A short form for requests that need detail: name, mobile, service, city, short description. Every extra field reduces the number of people who finish it.
  • A call button for urgent cases such as maintenance.

Send each request to the person responsible for that service or branch, not to a generic inbox nobody reads. Because the form collects personal data, show a clear privacy notice explaining its purpose. Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, supervised by SDAIA, has been enforceable since September 2024, and the UAE has its own federal data protection law; confirm the details with a legal professional.

Speed, SEO, Google Business Profile and analytics

A good company profile website does a lot of quiet work in the background:

  • Speed: compressed images in a modern format, suitable hosting, and monitoring of Core Web Vitals.
  • SEO basics: a unique title and description for every page, logical headings, structured data for your business type, and a sitemap submitted to Search Console.
  • Google Business Profile: create a profile for each branch with the right address, hours and category, and link it to that branch's page on your site. Many local searches start on Maps.
  • Analytics: record WhatsApp taps, calls and form submissions as conversions, so you know which pages bring in clients.

These are core parts of our web development service, not later add-ons.

Content preparation checklist before design starts

What delays most company websites is not the code but the content. Prepare this list before you sign:

  • One positioning sentence: what you do, for whom and where.
  • Your list of services, and for each one: the problem it solves, your approach and the deliverables.
  • Three to six projects with photos, details and client permission.
  • Certifications, classifications, commercial registration and VAT number if applicable.
  • Your logo in a scalable format, plus approved colours and fonts.
  • Branch addresses, opening hours and map links.
  • Who receives inquiries for each service or branch.
  • The English copy, or who will write it.
  • An updated PDF company profile for download.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a company profile website and a PDF company profile?

A PDF is a static document you send to someone who already knows you; it rarely appears in search results and tells you nothing about who read it. A company profile website attracts new clients from Google, gives each service its own page, routes visitors to contact you, and shows where each inquiry came from. Ideally you have both, with the PDF downloadable from the site.

How many pages does a corporate website need?

There is no perfect number, but most small and mid-sized companies need a home page, an about page, one page per main service, a projects page, a contact page and a privacy policy. The rule of thumb is that every service clients search for under a different name deserves its own page, because a single page listing everything rarely ranks for any search phrase.

Does a Gulf company website need an English version?

If any of your clients, partners or decision-makers read in English, which is common across the Gulf, the answer is usually yes. The English version should be written for its readers rather than machine-translated, and each language should have its own URLs connected with hreflang tags, so Google shows the right version to each searcher.

How do I know whether my corporate website is generating leads?

Connect the site to Google Analytics and Search Console, and record every WhatsApp or call button tap and every form submission as a conversion. You can then see which pages and services generate inquiries, and from which source: search, maps or ads. Review those numbers monthly and rework the weak pages based on what they show.

Start with the content you already have

If your company in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the Gulf needs a website that brings in real inquiries, send us your list of services and whatever content you have ready. We will propose a sitemap, a scope and clear delivery phases before you commit.
