What was built for this project?

The IEP Platform is an Arabic SaaS product for special education teachers. A teacher picks a student's goals from a tiered bank, sets start and review dates and mastery criteria, then approves the plan and shares a link so the plan team can sign it electronically. The plan can be printed or exported as a PDF with an official header, from a phone or a computer.

The platform is sold as plan-credit packages through a Salla store; on payment, credit is activated and the teacher account is created automatically. The admin panel gives the platform team control over the academic structure, goal banks and review of teacher-submitted content.

The challenge

Preparing individualized education plans by hand takes teachers a lot of time: writing long-term, short-term and instructional goals for each student, setting dates and mastery criteria, then collecting the plan team's signatures and printing with an official header. The goal was a platform that does this from a phone in minutes and is sold as subscriptions through an existing online store.

The solution

A mobile-first Laravel platform with a full Arabic RTL interface: a tiered goal bank (domain → subject → long-term → short-term → instructional) with search that handles Arabic spelling variants, a step-by-step plan wizard, progress tracking with automatic percentages, link-based e-signatures and PDF export with an official header. Signed Salla webhooks activate credit and accounts automatically.

Development approach

A clear path. From first question to launch.

The project was delivered in six phases, each with a handover report and client sign-off before the next. It is covered by 203 automated tests against a real MariaDB database, Larastan static analysis and 180 interactive checks at mobile sizes. Credit, plan, goal and Salla logic live in separate services, with admin and teacher roles and an audit log for every action.
